All In Cafe @ Ipoh Old Town

Round 2.... Just kinda miss the old town for now because there are more good food than before. Even by the roadsides are stalls selling all kinds of food. Just before entering All In Cafe, I saw this rice dumplings (gan sui zong, 碱水粽) for sale. I just need to get some of those.

So, this is the stall. Not only rice dumplings, but whatever they are grilling there looks awesomely delicious. All those meat..... Mmmmm... I guess they are RM2 - RM3 each. Some of them looked like jumbo sausages. If you are not getting them, its okay, smelling is free of charge.

Look at the crowd. All wanted to get some food.

We bought the dumplings, RM5.00 for a bunch. 10 dumplings per bunch and comes with some gula melaka sauce.

This is how it looks like. No filling, so dip into the gula melaka for a better taste.

Now, we are in All In Cafe once again. Always the all time favourites, White Coffee. Wonderful taste. RM1.90 each.

Next, the Kopi O. Black coffee without milk. Rich and nice. RM1.80 each.

Now, FOOD TIME!!! Let's have something different this time. Not always the same food. Try something new and enjoy your life to the fullest. Crispy roasted pork rice. Its quite nice. RM5.00 per plate.

Sticky Rice with curry chicken. My favourite. Just a small amount of sticky rice but its feeling. The potatoes and chicken are cooked. The curry taste good too. Even how much curry you offer, I'll still take it. RM6.50 per plate.

Hakka Noodle. A big plate but cheap. RM3.00 per plate. Comes with minced pork and beansprouts. Though less ingredients but its still delicious.

So this is the receipt. 1 hakka noodle, 1 sticky rice with curry, 2 crispy roasted pork rice, 3 white coffee and 1 kopi o. All adds up to RM27.00. An affordable meal isn't it?

Next, in the restaurant, there's this stall that sells egg tarts. Their egg tarts are really famous until you have to make reservations in order to get them.

It's called the Egg Tarts King. Probably the Kings of all Egg Tarts?

This is their price list. Sorry but I can't read Chinese.

Am I that lucky, there's somemore left for me?

Their original egg tarts are actually still available without making any reservation. How lucky! Normally, there wouldn't be any left if you did not make any reservations. Egg tarts, RM1.60 each. They are really awesome. Really worth eating. If you made it All In Cafe without eating this, it is such a waste.

The great thing about this egg tart is that it have a solid shape. Unlike other egg tarts, when you start to hold on to them, they just collapse!!!! But this is different, the pastry or the filling, both very solid. Solid but not tough. Its still fluffy and soft but in shape.

From the inside, the stall looks like this. See, he is so busy baking the next batch.

Oh!!!! Look at those freshly baked Portugese Egg Tarts. Unfortunately, all are reserved. How sad is that. They look really delicious. At least I got to smell them.

Before leaving, I manage to take away 2 pandan egg tarts and 2 siu pau. All for RM7.60. I'm not sure how much each cost but its still worth the price. YAY!!!!

Wong Koh Kee

 a
Restaurant Wong Koh Kee, here I come. Make sure to be there slightly earlier than the lunch hour or else you'll need to WAIT!!!!! It's a very long queue. There is a "Ma Chi" stall beside the restaurant. Only RM3.00. Get some if you are seriously that hungry.

What is it written there? I don't understand Chinese. It's the name of the shop, Koh Kee. Koh Kee is a restaurant famous for their mouth-watering dishes. It's business hours are from 10.30am to 3.00pm and is located along Jalan Panglima, 31650 Ipoh Perak. Wondering where's that? I'm sure you are much more familiar when I say its located along the Concubine Lane, Ipoh or in chinese, known as 'yi lai hong'. Yup!!! That old lane? Now most of the shops there are refurbished into better looking shop lots.

SEE!!!! Told ya its full. People just take their own sweet time to enjoy their food. So if you are one of them waiting for a table, "man man deng ba" meaning wait patiently. Eating here brings back old memories when you look at those wooden chairs. How nice?

You are served with Chinese Tea. Good for health. Teapot and cups, the traditional way of drinking it.

You are then served with white rice. Normal rice. Enough to fill your tummy.

Finally, my dishes arrived...... WOHOO!!!!! I'm just so excited to eat right now. It smells so good its irresistible. Stir-fried watercress with roasted pork ( chau sai yong choi siu yuk). I'm telling you,
YOU MUST TRY!!!!!! Sekali mahu, nak lagi!!!

Fish is sauce. Their fish are just so fresh. You be there later, fish pun habis!!!!. This is slightly salty, tell them to cook it less salty. Otherwise, love it.

Steam eggs (sam wong dan). This is a famous dish in the restaurant. Every table seem to be ordering it. So, we follow the flow, we ordered it too. Its just so nice. Some fried garlic on top and spring onion. There are three types of egg, the normal chicken egg, salted egg and century egg. This is not salty, this is awesome!!!! It's really nice!!!

So, when the bill comes out, its RM58.00 for 4 of us plus an extra rice. Affordable and reasonable for a great meal. Try it one day and you'll definitely fall in love <3 <3 <3

Restaurant Wok Sifu @ Aeon Kinta City Ipoh

What to eat in Aeon Kinta City Ipoh? I prefer Wok Sifu. Wok Sifu is located next to Seoul Garden or opposite Restaurant Ting Hao. A vast variety of food are serve here. From Western to Hong Kong Style to Korean and Taiwanese cuisine. Awesome right?

This is their Shanghai Style Rice with Crispy Chicken Chop. What I enjoy the most is the crispy chicken chop. So crispy and mouth watering. Its so tasty that I can eat my whole life without getting bored. The rice comes with some vegetables, broccoli, some corn and carrots to balanced up the diet. I'm sure you don't want to end up being obese due to an unbalanced diet. Don't worry, the vegetables that come along with the rice are very juicy and nice.

French Toast. This french toast is covered with honey and topped with some butter. The butter will eventually melt because the french toast is served hot. In the toast, you will find peanut butter in it. The peanut butter enhance the taste of the toast, thus making it unique.

Hong Kong Style Fried Rice with Beef is my all time favourites. This fried rice is really delicious. Fried with some spring onions, onions, corn and carrots. The beef is so awesome when it is eaten together with the rice.

This is almost similar. This is Hong Kong Style Fried Rice with Chicken. Ingredients are the same except the beef is now replaced with the chicken. Beef lovers may order the beef while non-beef lovers can order the chicken.

Finally, some noodles of course. Noodle Soup with Deep Fried Mince Pork Dumpling. This noodle comes with 5 minced pork dumpling. I tell you, you will regret if you don't try the dumpling. Its so nice. The minced pork inside is so delicious with the crispy deep fried pastry. For the noodles, you can either choose clear soup or spicy soup. Noodles are springy and nice. Not too salty but the right taste. Enjoy your meal!!!

This is your order chit. Check the food that you have ordered. If it wasn't written there, ask for assistance to check your chit again.

More Mighty White's New Muffin Flavours

New flavours again. This time its better and more creative. Banana Walnut flavour (Pisang Walnut), Vanilla Raisins (Vanila Kismis) and Chocolate Choco Chips (Cip Coklat). Its RM1.50 each. Worth the amount though. Its almost similar to the those freshly bake muffins in the bakery. Not as soft but a little springy and Not too dry. Give it a try. Available at Tesco outlets and others.
