There will be a staircase leading you upstairs where the restaurant is located.

As you reach upstairs, go outside and you'll see this. Before you come, it is advisable to make reservations because there is limited space.

You can enjoy the beautiful scenery up here. The view of the river.

When you look down, you'll see all these fishing boats. Never get the chance to see those fishing boats? See it now in Kuala Sepetang. Buckets and buckets of fresh seafood being brought up. Yum!!!

Indoors, they sell dried shrimps and anchovies. Looks nice and is sold at a reasonable price.

Ice Umbra. Nice. Very refreshing and sour. Refresh your day after a long drive here.

\
Boiled Lo Hon Ko. Unlike any other lo hon ko drink, this is not sweet. You can taste the richness of the ingredients and not only sugar water.

Coconut water. Very refreshing and very sweet. Mmmm...

In cantonese, you call it Chang Loong Choy or its direct translation, green dragon vegetable. This is the green dragon vegetable cooked with beansprouts. Tasty and nice. Love it.

Homemade beancurd by the restaurant. This is really nice. No kidding. Try once and you'll come back for it. It is so smooth and nice. Just by eating steam beancurd in soya sauce is good enough. Contains bit of spring onion and fried onion.

Lala or better known as clams. The clams here are really fresh. Not only that, it is also tasty. Cooked with spring onions, onions, and garlic.

Fish in asam sauce. This is so good. Not too sour, just the right taste and it was really fresh. Cooked with tomatoes and lady's finger. Mmmm...

White rice. Not too much, just the right amount. Less rice and more dishes.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations

Wohoo!!! The Cadbury's Marvellous Creations had finally made it to Malaysia. This is seriously marvelous. This is something new and definitely worth trying. It comes in two flavours that is Jelly Popping Candy and Peanut Toffee Cookie . It is 160g for RM8.89 in Giant and RM8.99 in Tesco. However, prices varies from places to places.

When you open the purple package, you will see the bar of chocolate wrapped in a gold aluminium foil. Looks like a bar of gold bar.

When you tear the foil, it will look like this. Irregular shaped pieces of chocolate. It is mainly milk chocolate with popping candy that pops in your mouth. The sound of crystals in your mouth with every bite. Somehow I find it annoying. Not only that, it consists of small chocolate with shells that looks like M&M or Smarties. All I can say is, I love it. I would try out for the Peanut Toffee Cookie the next time.

Genting's Mooncake

Its the time of the year again. Mooncakes are out for sale. Want to get yours? Head to Genting Highlands before its totally sold out. There are a few counters selling mooncake. One of it is in First World next to Hainan Kitchen.

Look, a long queue is already forming at the counter. If you are not going soon, the good flavours are definitely going to sold out.

Mooncakes stashed up at the counter awaiting for customers. For the time being, they still have enough. Always double check your flavours at the packaging of the mooncake before leaving the counter. They are always in two languages that is Chinese and English. If you purchase any snow skin mooncake, remember to store it in the refrigerator.

Look at all the different flavours. This year, they introduce us to five new flavours that is Green Tea Paste With Walnut Jingsa, Golden Jade Pandan Paste With Mixed Fruit Skin, Sweet Corn Lotus Paste With Water Chestnut & Beet Root Jingsa, Blueberry Paste with Single Yolk and Chocolate Whisky. Sounds so interesting, don't they? You should really try them, you can't find any of those in the market outside. By the way, their bestsellers are the Goh Tong Pu-Er Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Lotus Paste With Single Yolk, Golden Jade with Single Yolk, and Lotus Paste with Double Yolk. These are quite common except for their Goh Tong Pu-Er Lotus Paste with Single Yolk. Their Goh Tong Pu-Er Lotus Paste with Single Yolk mainly taste like a tea flavoured mooncake. Others are the common ones that everyone loves. Prices are different for all flavours. If you buy four mooncakes at a time, you will be given a metal mooncake box. If you would like to purchase their mooncake bag (recycle bag), its RM2.00 each. Every purchase of mooncake comes with a plastice knife.

Famous Char Kway Teow in Ipoh

Let me introduce you the Restaurant Sin Lean Lee where you can enjoy the famous char kway teow. This restaurant is located along Jalan Panglima, 30000 Ipoh Perak. One of the best char kway teow in town can be found here. Not to mention, they sell other food as well.
This is how the restaurant looks like. Nice and clean.

It looks like they have toast, custard and herbal jelly (guilinggao) too. Custard RM2.40 each and herbal jelly RM2.20  each.

Yay!! Drinks had finally arrived. Iced coffee and Iced Kopi O'. Love the coffee. Nice and sweet.

Saw the stall at the corner? That is the stall we are looking for. Char Kway Teow awaiting. Order yours and tell whether you would like eggs only or with prawns or maybe some cockles in your noodles.

Finally, my char kway teow arrived. Looks delicious isn't it? It is only RM5 for char kway teow with egg and prawns. Look how delicious it looked. Full with beansprouts, prawn, spring onions and egg. Very delicious. Every bit tasted so well. The chili sauce is watery but not bland. Goes perfectly well with the char kway teow. Probably one plate is not enough that you need to order another one since it's quite small.

Now, we moved on to the next stall. This stall serves chee cheong fun, turmeric glutinous rice, and many more.

The food came quite fast. This is the glutinous rice I've ordered. Actually, I wanted to order the turmeric glutinous rice but it was finished. So, I ended with this. I've never regret ordering this because it taste just as good. Only RM2.80 for the glutinous rice. Contains fried egg, spring onion, and bbq pork (char siew). As usual, glutinous rice always comes in a small amout. So, order a plate of char kway teow and order a plate of glutinous rice, have a glass of coffee, you'll definitely be full.
