Happy Mid Autumn Festival


 
Today is Mid Autumn Festival also known as Mooncake Festival. You can purchase mooncake in supermarkets such as Tesco or Jusco. Nowadays, mooncakes comes in many flavours. Flavours such as chocolate, coffee, durian and many more can easily be found unlike in the olden days, they only make lotus paste, red bean paste and a few more flavours. There are various brands in the market such as Foh San, The Baker's Cottage, Tai Thong and many more. Mooncake were also categorized in 3 types, baked skin, snow skin and jelly. Today you'll can also see the full moon. In this chinese tradition, children used to play lanterns and candles. Happy Mid Autumn Festival!!
