Aberdeen Cafe & Japanese Fusion

It is now newly refurbished. The old Aberdeen Cafe is now the new Aberdeen Cafe and Japanese Fusion. Since it is newly refurbished, we wanted to try out something new. It was a cooling day, so we decided to sit outside.

Business hour are from 11am to 11pm. They are open daily except on public holidays and Wednesday. By the side, you can see something that looks like a curtain. That was the inside of the cafe. Separated into rooms. Like a Japanese style I guess because I didn't went in and have a look as it was quite pack.

From the outside, it looks like this. Round and squarish marble tables and plastic chairs and wooden stools. Fans were on high speed so it was cooling after all. We waited and waited for almost fifteen minutes before anyone served us. Quite of a bad service, I supposed. We were told that the cafe was crowded and there were not enough workers. The four of us were only given two menus. They said they were short of menus. Okay, understood!! No worries.

Later on, we were given the order chit and a pencil. Be sure to write down your food and beverage code properly.

So this is their menu. Located at Jalan Medan Ipoh 3, Bandar Baru Medan, 31400 Ipoh Perak. Their contact number, 605-5468264.

Just a glimpse of their Maki Lunch Special.

A glimpse of their Sushi Bar.

A glimpse of their Special Roll. Of course, this is not all. There are normal Asian food as well. No worries. These are for sushi lovers. Other than all these, they serve nasi lemak, fried noodles and many more.

Our drinks came first. Coffee O' Ice, Coffee Ice and Iced Soya Bean. However, drinks tasted normal.

Next, we move on to the mushroom soup. It comes with two pieces of garlic toast or bread. The bread was nice, you can taste the richness of garlic. Mmmm... Soup was also tasty with a variety of mixed mushrooms.

Next, we have Nasi lemak with Rendang Tok. Rendang Tok is actually beef rendang. I love it so much. Rendang Tok actually  originated from Perak. The nasi lemak comes with some keropok, a fried egg, sliced cucumber, rendang tok and also some sambal. I really like rendang Tok. So, I'll give this a five star rating if the rendang wasn't that salty. Beware of the sambal, it was really hot and one kind of weird taste that I don't know how to describe.

Mushroom Chicken Chop Rice. Now we are in the western style. The rice comes with a fried egg. one chicken chop in mushrooom sauce, some french fries and sliced cucumber. Nice. Tasty and taste good. Especially there's french fries, YAY! My favourite.

Now we moved on to the last one, Fish Slice Mee-Hoon Soup. We waited very very long before it was served. After all, worth waiting because it tasted good. Quite different from any other mee-hoon. They used the thick type of noodles and the soup base was sour enough. It was really enjoying if it hasn't arrive that  late.

Finally, their bill. This is how it looks like. After all, food was okay. I only hated the part that  we need to wait for so long and my tummy was already making noise. I hope service would be better when we return for a second time.
