Restoran Y Food Box

This is the restaurant that was newly renovated and open for business. It is located along Jalan Canning Estate, 31400 Ipoh Perak next to the tyre shop. It is open from 5.30 pm to 3.00 am in the morning. Incredible working hours. Next time, when you travel to Ipoh and reach here late at night or should I say early in the morning, you know where to look for food besides going to McDonald's 24 hours.

This is how the menu looks like.

Take a glance at their menu. Teochew Authentic. Mmmm....

Seafood Dishes anyone? Do you prefer crabs or prawns? How about both?

Pork Dishes. All dishes comes in tow sizes. Small or medium. If you are trying for the first time, it is advisable to start small. See if it suits your taste bud. Everyone is different. For me, the dishes are delicious.

Beverage. Reasonable prices. From the range of R M0.50 to RM3.00.

Inside the restaurant. It will be very packed during dinner time. I would choose to go a little later as it would be less crowded. A cooling atmosphere with air conditioners.

The setting of each table. All new and white.

Marble tables and chairs. Wooden floor and white wallpaper walls really makes the restaurant look awesome.

You have to try this. This is not chili. This is pickled garlic and ginger, I guess. It was really lovely especially for garlic lovers out there. You can scoop this by yourself, there will be a small jar containing this on each an every table.

Rice or porridge? It is your own choice. If you rather have porridge, go ahead. It is advisable to take porridge if you are calling those Teochew dishes. Those are kind of mend to go with porridge.

Hot chinese tea. Economical drink.

Fried Fuyong Egg. It was really nice and very thin. I love it. I recommend you to try this.

Fried pork with leak. Mmmm.... My favourite. I love it.

Finally, stir fried green vege with garlic. Nice.

This is their receipt. Not to expensive for four person. Try it out one day when you are in Ipoh. A place to consider to eat good food.
