Have you noticed the Wanton Noodles stall in Menglembu, Ipoh? It is located along Jalan Tranchell Menglembu, 31450 Ipoh, Perak, next to Restaurant Ka Lok. Open during night time.
Order your wanton noodles before entering the restaurant. Call two plates if you really need to. Especially when you eat a lot because the noodles are seriously small.
This is how it looks from the inside. Old tables and chairs. Indeed an old restaurant. Who cares whether how the restaurant looks like. We came for the food, not the place. Just make yourself comfortable in order to enjoy your food.
Order your drinks of course. I ordered sugar cane.
Finally, our food arrived. Wanton noodles topped with beansprouts and spring onions. It comes with a bowl of dumplings (wanton) and pickled chili. Mmmm..... If possible, do not drink the soup. It was quite salty. Everything was near perfection except for the soup. This noodles are not salty unlike other wanton noodles out there that taste like salt. I really enjoy it. RM2.80 each.
