All In Cafe @ Ipoh Old Town

Round 2.... Just kinda miss the old town for now because there are more good food than before. Even by the roadsides are stalls selling all kinds of food. Just before entering All In Cafe, I saw this rice dumplings (gan sui zong, 碱水粽) for sale. I just need to get some of those.

So, this is the stall. Not only rice dumplings, but whatever they are grilling there looks awesomely delicious. All those meat..... Mmmmm... I guess they are RM2 - RM3 each. Some of them looked like jumbo sausages. If you are not getting them, its okay, smelling is free of charge.

Look at the crowd. All wanted to get some food.

We bought the dumplings, RM5.00 for a bunch. 10 dumplings per bunch and comes with some gula melaka sauce.

This is how it looks like. No filling, so dip into the gula melaka for a better taste.

Now, we are in All In Cafe once again. Always the all time favourites, White Coffee. Wonderful taste. RM1.90 each.

Next, the Kopi O. Black coffee without milk. Rich and nice. RM1.80 each.

Now, FOOD TIME!!! Let's have something different this time. Not always the same food. Try something new and enjoy your life to the fullest. Crispy roasted pork rice. Its quite nice. RM5.00 per plate.

Sticky Rice with curry chicken. My favourite. Just a small amount of sticky rice but its feeling. The potatoes and chicken are cooked. The curry taste good too. Even how much curry you offer, I'll still take it. RM6.50 per plate.

Hakka Noodle. A big plate but cheap. RM3.00 per plate. Comes with minced pork and beansprouts. Though less ingredients but its still delicious.

So this is the receipt. 1 hakka noodle, 1 sticky rice with curry, 2 crispy roasted pork rice, 3 white coffee and 1 kopi o. All adds up to RM27.00. An affordable meal isn't it?

Next, in the restaurant, there's this stall that sells egg tarts. Their egg tarts are really famous until you have to make reservations in order to get them.

It's called the Egg Tarts King. Probably the Kings of all Egg Tarts?

This is their price list. Sorry but I can't read Chinese.

Am I that lucky, there's somemore left for me?

Their original egg tarts are actually still available without making any reservation. How lucky! Normally, there wouldn't be any left if you did not make any reservations. Egg tarts, RM1.60 each. They are really awesome. Really worth eating. If you made it All In Cafe without eating this, it is such a waste.

The great thing about this egg tart is that it have a solid shape. Unlike other egg tarts, when you start to hold on to them, they just collapse!!!! But this is different, the pastry or the filling, both very solid. Solid but not tough. Its still fluffy and soft but in shape.

From the inside, the stall looks like this. See, he is so busy baking the next batch.

Oh!!!! Look at those freshly baked Portugese Egg Tarts. Unfortunately, all are reserved. How sad is that. They look really delicious. At least I got to smell them.

Before leaving, I manage to take away 2 pandan egg tarts and 2 siu pau. All for RM7.60. I'm not sure how much each cost but its still worth the price. YAY!!!!
